Angela Tyree LMT is a Geriatric Massage Specialist in Johnson City, Tennessee. She loves to serve seniors who are past the robust phase of aging and need alternate methods of finding some enjoyment, relief, and comfort in their lives.
Angela routinely provides massage therapy services at local Assisted Living facilities and she is also a hospice volunteer for Caris!
Although Angela has her own private practice in Johnson City (Merit Massage Care), she still enjoys getting out and about and meeting new clients, whether they're in long term skilled nursing care or at home in their bed or chair!
Angela learned from the best in Geriatric Massage training, Dr. Sharon Puszko, former Director of the Daybreak Geriatric Massage Institute.

ABOUT ME
I was all but raised by my grandparents, and lucky for me, they made it a point to bring me along to meet older family members, and for that I am eternally grateful, because this is how I fell in love with and was called to serve older clients.
I worked as a nurse aid in a long term care facility while I was in college and although I gravitated away from that while working 20 years in the pharmaceutical industry, the memories of the experience were always in the periphery of my mind!
I did finally make it back to working with the elderly , part time during Covid and it was there that I had an epiphany to be a massage therapist. I wanted to bring massage therapy to long term care facilities and to those who are home bound. So that is what I do now!
